Also, I'm sad to see Seb go. I've know him since the June waiters thread and even though he was often hyped and crazy (and a frequent triple-poster) he is definitely a kind person who posts with a good heart. I hope to see him again on the thread.
Now that the melodrama is out of the way we should have a more lighthearted conversation. Favorite Disney movies? (Or if you hate Disney movies feel free to tell us why and/or vilify me for bringing this up)
ETA: skipped a word
Oh lord, this might be harder than the musicals question. Asking a gay man what his favorite Disney movie is can sometimes induce panic. I might as well just start with the ones I don't like:
Princess and the Frog
Hercules

Being a music major, I think it's mainly that I just hate the songs in these movies. And having lived in New Orleans for a few years, Princess and the Frog just annoyed me. It seemed forced.

It really is. Which newsie is your favorite ?? I always liked Racetrack and Spot Conlon. I developed a really weird Brooklyn accent for a couple of words from watching that movie too many times.

100% the best in the underrated category.
Totally agree. My biggest regret with that film was that the submarine scenes didn't go on for longer.
I knew there was a reason I liked you all!
Hecules and Mulan are probably my two all-time favorites, but Lion King is very close behind.
Also I will just leave this here....

ARISTOCATS ALWAYS. Also Mulan.
Lion King is a classic, but I actually really like Lion King 2 and Lion King 1 and 1/2 (even though the title bugs me to NO END because it should be LK 1/2 since it comes before/during the first)
Cinderella is just terrible. Lucifer was the only relatable character in the entire movie.

I'm with you on this one - Lion King has some very underrated deep themes to it.

That's a whole new ballgame. I've got many strong feelings about DCOMs.

Right? Kiara was the OG badass disney princess! Plus you rarely see a redeemed villain in Disney movies. Shows how you can stereotype and judge without actually knowing people, and that children don't have inherent prejudices.

Agree. Maybe that should be a separate category. Though Johnny Tsunami and Zenon:Girl of the 21st Century outclass the rest, IMO.

Agreed. Zenon was an absolute classic. The Interstellar of its era

Gotta lighten up dude, if you can't enjoy a thread on the internet of folks passing time waiting for a law school decision, you're gonna have a brutal in LS let alone big law after that.
+180. Ouch.
I get annoyed at this thread plenty of times too, but you gotta learn to live with some tiny annoyances (or just unsubscribe).

I loved Luck of the Irish! Also I think the antagonist kind of looks like Conor McGregor

Side question: How many people with 'presumptive admit' numbers that do not have a JS2 yet are K-JD (or gap year only before UG)? It seems to me that there is a correlation here, but only relying on some comments that I've noticed.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
