Did everyone get in the same day as they interviewed? Because I interviewed this morning and didn't get in today. Kind of freaking out now.

Got in several days after my interview. Was in the same position you are (freaking out bc others reported same-day acceptances) but should not have worried about it. It's over now- if you did your best, don't beat yourself up about it!

Thanks! Right after I read your comment, I checked again and I was in! Super excited about my admission. I hadn't heard anything since my application date (11/11) and I thought I was a Ding with a slight possibility of WL before they requested an interview. I guess good things do come to those who wait, at least sometimes.

Are date changes usually associated with a particular decision?? I remember the WL/ding wave last week came right after a bunch of date changes so just want to prepare myself

Ahhh!! I have an interview scheduled after hearing absolutely nothing since November. So excited that the email wasn't the ding I have been expecting! Any interview advice?? I feel out of the game not having interviewed anywhere since December lol

Does this mean interview? Or they have questions about my application? I think waiting for too long has got me to think too much.....

It's an interview. I got the same email last week. Congrats and don't stress about the interview too much. It was by far the most laid back interview I've had in any of my admissions. No strange questions or curveballs...seems they just want to get to know you as an applicant better and answer any questions you have about UVA. Good luck!

Thank yu! I actually had my interview yesterday and got in the same day my status checker didn't change until this morning and there wasnt any official email so i kinna freaked out haha. Im glad its over!!!!

You can search for "interview" on here and find a ton of stuff. But, basically have a good "why law" answer, a good "why UVA" answer, and then maybe prepare a couple of good questions to ask the interviewer. You may also want to prepare a quick final plea to the adcomm because I've seen it asked on multiple interviews including my own. It's very laid back, so relax! Good luck!

Howdy, everyone. So I'm going to visit Charlottesville in a few weeks as a way to hopefully bolster my WL application. Should I send an email and ask to meet with anyone? I don't know what SOP would be in this situation.

Good news! I had my interview on Thursday at 1:00 and got a call back at 4:30 that same day letting me know I'm accepted. Very pumped for the waiting to be over.
