Basically, my Week at a Glance lists more scheduled classes than the Student Detail Schedule (eg 3* property vs 2*)

I'll prob reveal who I am at the end of the program. it's more fun this way.
If you give me a hint as to who you are and I may come and introduce myself (unless I've already met you, which is very possible)

What books are they? I'll sell you mine. We had reading assignments in them throughout the year (which were semi optional...) but they came in handy when my prof wanted exact formats from the books for assignments.

$200 casebooks are for the semester. If you don't mind highlighting, buy them used. If you do mind highlighting but WANT to highlight on your own, rent. If you mind highlighting and don't plan on highlighting you MIGHT save more money buying new and selling new on amazon (I saved a BIT compared to renting each semester).ned wrote:What about the $200 books? tennisking: I have the 4th edition of basic legal research which is brand new, but may be a BIT different.
I have the 6th edition of legal reasoning (Neumann) which to be honest was the most useful since my LRW professor has us use the exact formatting from it for our assignments. It's never left my apt though and is in new condition with no highlighting. I will sell it for $60 new (85 new on Amazon, with the cheapest new from a seller at 75).

Re: Fordham c/o 2015/16 (2011-2012 Cycle)
Haha it really depends on your professor. I ended up in the top 3 of my legal writing class and Neumann was very necessary for us. Plain English for lawyers is cheap and we had a couple assignments out of it. Sloan was the only very useless one for me.JCFindley wrote:I have to ask, if these books are still in the shrink wrap, do we really need them?
