It's also AJD applicants. NU is the only school to offer an accelerated program so AJD-waitlists are probably much more likely to enroll if they get in off the waitlist as opposed to defecting to other schools where they'd have to attend for three yearsTripTrip wrote:That's because we're talking about the waitlist. Look at last year's class http://www.law.northwestern.edu/admissi ... ofile.htmlcusenation wrote:It's also AJD applicants. 38 acceptances, 28 matriculates, only 100 total applicants. AJD is a very different group of people and I would imagine most that apply have intent to ultimately attend.
ETA: 28/38 is about a 74% yield.

Nothing is happening today right?
NU is the last school I'm waiting on that I can reasonably expect to be accepted at and I'm so BORED over here, guys. It's crushing me. Doesn't Johann care about me?
Edit: unsolicited nor'easter/blizzard update: the snow has turn to rain in NYC. Boredom reigns.

Just interviewed on-campus. Totally blew the "biggest weakness" question, but hopefully they saw how much I'd like to attend.

At least they realized they should not have that statement if they cannot hold by it? It's gone for all of us, I'm assuming...

I think it means that Northwestern finally realized in the middle of the cycle that this message shouldn't have been there in the first place.djlmjs22 wrote:I have this message now also, I tried looking back for info but this is a really long thread. Does this mean a decision will come soon? I've only had one update on 12/13 and it's still on that date even though the message changed

No. It means they no longer want to be held to the 6-8 week "deadline."djlmjs22 wrote:I have this message now also, I tried looking back for info but this is a really long thread. When did you go complete? maybe they only changed for people who submitted a long time ago since for the more recent people, it could still be 6 - 8 weeks for a decision? Just a thought.
