Does anyone know how soon after acceptance scholarship info comes? Or does it come with the admissions notice?

Congrats to all recent admits!
Now that the app deadline has now passed, maybe we'll get back to those held EA applicants who were nice enough to show LOTS OF INTEREST BY MAKING SURE TO APPLY EARLY!!!
P.S. If you're in the RD group, I'm not trying to be a hater on you. I'm just getting frustrated...

I know how you feel. I'm an ED hold for NYU and probably won't hear back from them until April...T00L wrote:Congrats to all recent admits!

w/ a not so fantastic LSAT haha, is a bad breakup reason enough to write an addendum for the LSAT score ..lol[/quote]
Haha, I honestly considered explicitly saying as much in my LSAT addendum... I ended up just referring to 'personal events'. Seriously though, I think everyone can relate to how horrible a break up can be- even admissions folks.

Why not .. What I would do is write about it, and then mention about the things you did to overcome some of the challenges, and also somehow tie it to your interest in Cornell.confusedlaw wrote:really want cornell would writing them an email now about medical adversity help now? 167 3.7

No.. I meant more along the lines of how you can overcome adversity, and how your strong will will contribute to you being a good law student at Cornell ..confusedlaw wrote:well the hospital i was at for my heart surgery was affiliated with cornell, any boost from thi?
PS: I hope you are in better health now

I had to update 4 times before a decision was made and I think so did a few other people....Lawbro wrote:I updated today for the second time, lets hope this means a decision is coming

On the reserve "oh my god not this again" prelude to a waitlist.
Quick honest questions, should I even send a LOCI this early, and if so, do you mention full-ride offers from super-lesser schools like Loyola or acceptances w/partial a from T20, or would that make me seem like a materialistic USNews ranking whore? Cornell really is my first choice.
Seriously, not even kidding, I interviewed with Dean Granger and everything-- would an additional interview help, or make me seem desperate?
I have had promotions and tons more experience since then, but very little in terms of GPA and nothing in terms of retaking as I feel it wont change enough to merit.
I would truly appreciate any and all advice guys. Last time all I did was lurk and look where it got me!
Thanks in advance.

I've been complete since 12/15 with no movement whatsoever since then. Anyone else in this kind of situation?

UPDATE today! 2/8!!!!!
Dates so far: 1/22 (went complete), 1/26, 2/8
I see that some accepted people get two consecutive updates before acceptance. If I don't get an update tomorrow, does that mean I'm a reject/waitlist? I tried searching for the answer but I couldn't find anything.

Nope, not deferred. Submitted sometime around the end of November, went complete 12/15 and silence.T00L wrote:are you deferred? Any movement on EA deferred applicants? I haven't had the heart to follow the thread after being moved to the deferred pile for the 2nd year in a row--especially after having ridden the waitlist for 2 cycles already....

That's so strange. You're basically my numbers twin and you've moved so fast, yet I haven't at all... hmmm...sf88 wrote:UPDATE today! 2/8!!!!!
