Good luck with that WL; I'm sure something will come through for you as the trickle-up continues.

to be honest, I rather not give my stats. just know that they were a little below the 25th% mark. I will however tell you what I did:kimheami wrote:Still waiting. 1. Wrote a LOCI immediately after I got waitlisted, detailing why WashU is a perfect fit, and activities I've been involved in since applying.
2. Emailed an alum (who went to my undergrad) to ask advice of how to get off the waitlist. Also emailed a professor in my specific law area interest to get more detail on the clinic and opportunities at WashU that I'm interested in.
3. Wrote another LOCI restating what I did in #2, plus additional updates in life.
4. VISITED. this was the biggest thing. I met with Dean Clifford, and the aforementioned professor, saw the facilites, met students, and made a wonderful impression. my admissions email explicitly said that this was a huge factor in my admission.
5. called admissions after 2nd seat to deposit to assure them that WashU is the place for me.
WashU is a beautiful campus, and if nothing else, I would recommend anyone who's really interested to visit.

Admitted this morning as a transfer. Pretty excited about it, although I don't really know much about the school other than it's ranking and reputation in the Midwest.

Just withdrew; VERY hard decision. WUSTL's a fantastic law school and I would have loved to have gone there. Hope a TLSer gets my spot. Good luck to all those on the waitlist!

hey guys--
i haven't really had time to look for a place. is anyone looking for a roommate? I would need a place pretty close to campus as I don't have a car.

I'd recommend asking the Facebook group, a few people have been making posts about that.thesimplestlife wrote:hey guys--

I was around their 25% median score and GPA. I have 4 years of WE and made it a point to meet with the admissions office. This was my number one choice and I looked at it like they are either going to tell me I'm in or to please leave us alone.kimheami wrote:you mind sharing your numbers. still waiting and getting a bit anxious.AJO83 wrote:Got into WashU last Friday off of the waitlist with $$$. What is the facebook group name? I have not been on Facebook all that much, but with school starting I am pretty sure that will be one of the main medias of use.

GL to all those still waiting! I got in off the WL around this time with some money so don't give up hope. PS- for those needing housing, I have a room in an apt. 10 mins away from campus by foot and on the bus line right next to the loop that's available. I'm a female JD/MSW student that just finished their 1L year and has their dream internship doing holistic defense
Let me know if you're interested. It's super cheap at 540$ a month w/everything included!

Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
I'm a rising 2L, male, with a 2-bedroom place and looking for a roommate. It's in the skinker-debaliviere area, a neighborhood with quite a few law students.thesimplestlife wrote:hey guys--

The apartment is on the top of a 3-story apartment building, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. It's fully furnished with full kitchen, nice living room, and washer and dryer. Rent would be $425/mo. plus half of the utilities (around $60-90/mo. including cable and internet).
I lived with a 2L last year and it was a great experience as he was able to give me a lot of advice along the way. As for my habits/personality, I'm relatively quiet, don't party more than once every week or two, like to cook, and spend more time at the school/library than I do at home. If interested please PM me! Thanks
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
