It would be my first answer from any school, I'd love to start from acceptance

I hear that... I've gotten two acceptances already but they're from TTT safeties. Nothing wrong with them, but I'd be really excited to get an acceptance from one of my top choices.

I've been complete since 12/15 and still no update. I'm gonna be pissed if I get wait listed as a YP from a school that I should probably get a scholarship from.

Received the Decision Made status update yesterday and got my acceptance today via smail mail! I think those with DM 1/15/10 can look forward to an acceptance batch.

Hmm... well I have a decision made yesterday from American U. If you don't mind, what region of the country are you in? 1 day = super fast.

I've been Decision Made since 1/13, nothing in the mail for me. Although, I listed my current address as my address at school, which I go back to in a couple days, so if I received anything I am sure that is where it is.

I had it forwarded it to my parents' house in Northern Virginia. I was a bit surprised by their speed as well.

Ok, cool, that makes sense. So mine should be in the midwest by Monday. Tell me what the envelope looks like... big packet right? If it's a thin envelope it's going into the fireplace.

USPS Priority Mail packet (large enough to contain a full-sized soft folder).

Hopefully 1/15 means accepted. They received my application on 1/7 and already said a decision has been made on 1/15. My stats are pretty bad tho, 167 with 2.85.

I went complete on 1/8...If you look at applicants on LSN you can clearly see a trend regarding people getting DM shortly after they went complete. Those waitlisted and rejected waited a much longer time between the two dates. Although this doesn't guarantee anything, it's still an interesting trend.

If it makes me feel better, I'll believe it.

Does American have an "In Review" status or do you just go straight from "complete" to "decision made" one day?

I don't believe American has an "In Review" status. The latter describes what happened to me.

Does anyone know the time frame for PIPS applications and review--I can't seem to find any information about previous years...
Thanks!

Yep, I applied for PT on 12/28, complete around 1/10, decision 1/15. I'm still waiting for it in the mail though...

I just talked to my roommate who is back at our apartment at school, he said I have a large white envelope waiting for me from American. Hopefully large envelope means acceptance! Again, I changed to Decision Made on 1/13, so for those still waiting for mail who also changed to Decision Made 1/13 or 1/15, I am sure you will be receiving something in the mail within the next couple of days. Good luck to everyone!

That's pretty impressive that you didn't tell him to rip it open.... I definitely would.

I didn't want to deal with the awkward consolation if I was actually rejected.

Ha! Well if it's a large envelope I think you already have your answer. (acceptance) Good things.
