bump.

actually, any info on "must-sees" at the admitted students days would be helpful. I'm going this week, and the schedule looks pretty open.

Did any of you get in after being "held" for further review? Did you write a LOCI?

I just got a letter saying I am in their Reserve Group. Is the advice to send a LOCI? They say they will go over the file again in May. Advice?

Definitely won't hurt. Try to make it CLS-specific. Good luck.

It's generic.

just got this too, and... wow. shiny... glossy... pretty blue... *swoon*
i'm totally a sucker for this stuff. i suppose the actual relevant, informative content doesn't hurt either, but the more shine... the more i am blinded to the high COL and large class size...

There were t-shirts, nice looking :)

The overall presentation was very nice, well orchestrated and organized. It definitely moved Columbia up on my list.

The campus was gorgeous and Morningside Heights seemed nice enough (a little less hetic than the Village)

there were free tshirts, but i have to disagree with the above poster on their appearance. they were navy and said columbia law school, so that part was nice. but there was an outline of what i believe to be the manhattan skyline, drawn in what i would describe as 'comic sans ms in drawn form'. or like the logo for a pre-school. but, that aside, it was free. and im a sucker for anything free.

Actually this is super-credited... I was hoping for a t-shirt with a crown on it - what a logo!

I, and a few others, shared impressions in the CLS ASW thread:

Oh, and +1 to the consensus on the t-shirts.

I got it today too!!! and you're right...it is shiny and glossy and pretty and swoon-worthy...and I'm also a sucker for pretty packaging. All the pretty stuff I've gotten from CLS, combined with their pretty campus, is starting to make them my #1 choice over Chicago. :D

just wondering if anyone has heard back about need-based finaid packages? I submitted everything before the March 1st deadline and from these forums it sounds like we could be hearing back as early as mid-March.

was anyone else a gunner at finaid forms like me? hehe... i just really need the money :P
