There was a reject just posted on LSN.

Numbers were pretty low, but applicant was an URM.

Nevertheless, there goes the theory of "it's too early for a rejection letter".

Absolutely-

but you can no longer say it's too early for a rejection to be sent out.

thanks -- I was complete on 10/23

Second, for those who couldn't find the Admitted Students site: http://law.wlu.edu/admissions/page2.asp?pageid=926

Finally, in response to a previous post, there are more than two fast food restaurants in Lexington. In fact, the general consensus among the undergraduates is that there is a glut of fast food restaurants -- far too many given the population of the town. McDs, Dominoes, Papa Johns, KFC, Wendy's, Dairy Queen, Arby's, two Subways, the Bell, and probably a few I can't recall. Of course, for those who want something more than fast food (most), there are a ton of restaurants in Lexington and Rockbridge County at a number of price points -- everything from a diner where you can be in and out and spend under $10 to a fine French restaurant that could easily run $50-75+/person. There are two grocery stores in the town (Kroger and Food Lion) in addition to the Wal Mart, two video rental stores (one's a Blockbuster), a wine purveyor, numerous boutiques and shops, etc. Don't get me wrong -- Lexington is a small town of 8000 people, but one blessed with considerable amenities and resources, attributable almost entirely to the presence of W&L and the Virginia Military Institute.

Yeah, but if you have auto-reject numbers, what do you expect the school to do? I think it's important to note that they haven't sent any rejections out to applicants with qualifying stats.

I sorta feel bad for the kid. He got rejected from Cooley.

I don't believe that these dates are reliable. 11/10 ers would most probably not receive a response until today's mail.

I'm finding it entirely impossible to study for the LSAT until I get today's mail, and where I'm located, the W&L letter probably wont arrive until tomorrow--this is becoming a serious distraction from my LSAT prep...not good.

Although I am sure all of the experienced anxiety, which is totally unproductive, will seem worthwhile once I receive my acceptance.

I was updated 11/9, in yesterday via letter. I'm pretty close to VA though (DC). 3.44/167.

Anyone see any $$ info? Good luck to those still waiting!

I would also like to know this. All I saw was a reference to the admitted students page and a reference to merit scholarships on there.

Their website said that they start making scholarship decisions in mid-January.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
