No, I don't know what her GPA was exactly, mid to low 3s if I had to guess. She is a cousin by marriage and she is a URM.

As I was taking a break from studying for my Torts mid-term tomorrow morning I decided to check back at TLS and see how things are going here.

I got a lot out of this forum and so if anyone has questions about UGA Law I'm more than willing to answer them (particularly through a PM).

I didn't go to UGA for undergrad, I'm not from GA (from FL), and so I'd be able to answer any questions people might have about getting in-state tuition, scholarships for out of state residents, the Athens experience, the atmosphere of the school, etc. I'm not on any sort of welcoming committee or any of that so I'll be sure to give you pretty straightforward answers if that's what you're looking for.

Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear if they got in!

I just applied 8 or 9 days ago and already have my status checker. It says my file is being reviewed. This seems quick. When did you all apply?

I know almost nothing about the school, or Athens, so I will have questions if I get an acceptance, but I'm not going to get ahead of myself now, as LSP says I'm a Weak Consider...

I applied on the 11/23 and got my status checker yesterday also stating I was 'under review'. I found out today that I was accepted, so yes they seem to be quicker than other schools in delivering a decision.

They are really quick. I was only completed for two days before I got my decision.

According to the status checker I'm in, and I'm pretty elated, but I've also seen that a couple times a bunch of people thought they were in only to find out it was a glitch in the system, and I didn't think I would even have to start thinking about getting decisions back until 2010...

I sort of feel like I just watched one of my fantasy football players score a touchdown, except it was way too easy, so I'm sure there's going to be a flag.

Only on a much bigger scale...

You can always call to confirm! Otherwise, your letter and "Georgia Law" decal will come in a few days...and that confirms it!
