I'm going to be at the beach all weekend. There will be a decision thread on monday.

I thought that NU was your No.1?

I wouldn't be paying cost of living at GULC. I <3 NU, but I don't know if I <3 by $60k more..

I know it sounds crazy, but for me at least 60K would be worth it not to live at home. I <3 my familly but I couldn't get through law school being the kind of student I was in HS. But I understand that it's a lot of money.

Although I will sadly miss spending the next 3 years at Notre Dame, I just see no way that I can pass up Northwestern. For those still waiting, per the email, it appears as though a deposit must be received by June 19th.

It seems like Northwestern is adding candidates in couples to preserve their medians... they take a person with a 175+ and a 3.2 GPA, add one 4.0 167-168, and get two T6 worthy medians... 3.6 / 172.

I'm a newcomer to this discussion. How does one convince a school that 3 majors, one from the top Phil dept. in the world, plus 2.5 years in probably the toughest military force in the world adds up to a worthy candidate? Any serious suggestions?
