If it says deposit required (first seat deposit and second seat deposit) does that mean you're in???????? It says decision finalized and I have deposit amounts showing.

hey, did anyone else go "decision made" yesterday 2/16? I see seat deposits but still haven't gotten an email. From what I've read here, everyone that got in got an email within 24 hours. I know it's Saturday and president's day is Monday, so I'm kinda going slightly nuts

They wouldnt allow you to reserve a seat if not in. I'm in the precarious situ of decision made with no seat deposit option. Oh well, sour grapes, it's too cold there anyhow.

I'm certainly not an expert, but from what I've read on here, seat deposits seem to always indicate an acceptance, but some people have been admitted who didn't see the fees listed. So don't assume worst case scenario because you aren't seeing the deposits! It could also mean you were waitlisted, which they send via snail mail only from what it sounds like. Good luck!

From those accepted, is the letter you received in the mail a big envelope/package or just a regular size envelope?mccarthy_c wrote:alyaubuchon wrote:"Decision made" but no seat deposits.... rejection?

For those going to March ASW, what are you all going to wear? I'm not sure what is considered acceptable dress for ASWs.

Re: Notre Dame Law School c/o 2021 Applicants (2017-18)
I'm attending in March and was curious about this as well. There's a lot of discussion on sites like reddit about this. From what I've seen, the general consensus seems to be business casual, although I work in public accounting and it seems my definition of business casual is different than most people haha. many people said they were in groups of people wearing blue jeans or dressy black jeans, but the popular opinion seems to be something along the lines of khakis/sweaters/etc.OldCollegeTry wrote:For those going to March ASW, what are you all going to wear? Anyone have tips or things they wished they would have known before applying to NDLS? Hopefully applying there next fall. GPA around a 4.0 and hopefully will have a strong LSAT, (preptests are going well).Taking it June and most likely July. Trying to decide if I will apply ED or RD. Might depend on LSAT. Any advice is helpful. And of course, congratulations.

Curious to know did anyone get see their status checker change to "decision made"? Mine didn't say "seat deposit due" on the bottom so I am super scared and bummed. Also didn't get any email updates...
if it just says"The Admissions Committee has completed their review of your application. Your decision has been mailed to you. We DO NOT release decisions by telephone or email. If more than 2 weeks has passed and you have not received your decision letter, please contact the Admissions Office (LawAdmit@nd.edu or 574-631-6626) to confirm your mailing address." should I still try to keep my faith and heads up haha.
thank you all!
