Re: UVA c/o 2021 Applicants (2017-2018)
Had a date change on the status checker today, don't know if that means UR2 or not. Probably doesn't mean anything but it's nice to get an update.

How do you know when you're UR2 vs UR1?

Re: UVA c/o 2021 Applicants (2017-2018)
TLS says UR1 is the first under review with a date, UR2 is when that date has changed. From what I understand, this is partly speculation as we do not really know the difference between UR1 and UR2andysimbi wrote:How do you know when you're UR2 vs UR1?

Re: UVA c/o 2021 Applicants (2017-2018)
Submitted last week and under review the same day - no change since then. UVA at a discount would be one of my top choices if not my top choice, so hoping for good news here!

In all seriousness, do you think I have a shot? I was thinking the "Why UVA" would actually hurt my bargaining power a bit since they know I would want to go there.Slippin' Jimmy wrote:Enjoy your dillard.tmcauliffe96 wrote:Applied Monday 10/23! Yes. I got a Dean's scholarship (50k) off 173/3.8 and the GPA is definitely what stopped me from getting a Dillard. If you have a good PS your numbers make you extremely competitive.tmcauliffe96 wrote:I meant for the Dillard lol I don't knowetramak wrote:tmcauliffe96 wrote:In all seriousness, do you think I have a shot?Slippin' Jimmy wrote:tmcauliffe96 wrote:173/3.99

Yes! They've since offered me a different scholarship that's full but the initial offer was $50k. Their recruitment is killing it hahaVeil of Ignorance wrote:rachelac wrote:tmcauliffe96 wrote:etramak wrote:You mean 50k per year, right?tmcauliffe96 wrote:Yes. A WL isn't the end of the world, especially if you get into an ivy, you can use that as leverage - "Hey UVA listen...so I got into Harvard but I'll go there if I get some financial aid" I know of someone who got the Dillard that way.Platopus wrote:UR since 9/26. Is the lull that we've seen for the past month typical of UVA?
