I figure if I haven't heard by tomorrow night, I have a snail mail on the way. The batches theory can only survive for so long. I did apply in Feb., so I do like the idea that maybe that is why I have not heard, but that seems more like a pipe dream at this point.

this is literally the worst school. What kind of school makes you wait 8 months for an answer. Not even Harvard Stanford and Yale do this. They will always be behind Chicago

Did not get second reserve, and I believe it's over for us. But I'm glad there is some closure and I can happily cuddle with Doook.

2nd reserve email --> LSAC GPA 3.88 , LSAT 152 - Yes I am URM . It would be a miracle if I got in. Retaking the LSAT this coming Monday

I saw yesterday that a couple of TLS folks spoke to Admissions yesterday and were told that all the emails about 2nd reserve wouldn't be sent in one batch. I'm wondering if that was true or if it was just admissions-speak for "Chill, get off my back" lol

I believe the consensus is if you didn't hear from them yesterday, you're dinged. Falling into that category, I am bummed. I guess we'll see soon.. Keep an eye out for a letter in the mail.

Most likely. If you don't hear anything by the end of this week then I think it's safe to assume the letter is on its way.

I'm not too sure. I think someone said emails would be sent out in batches but it's not clear if the batches would be different days. I think in previous years, there were people who reported getting emails a few days later asking if they wanted to stay on reserve (2nd reserve). But I don't want to give false hope since no one has reported getting anything in the mail yet.

I live in NYC and would assume if the rejection is coming, I'll be one of the first to get it. WIll keep you guys posted. Have not received an email in case that wasn't evident.
