Accepted via phone call earlier today! It came from a blocked number, I thought it was a sales thing...answered while blasting Lil Uzi Vert in the background, good times!

Ah, in as well from a blocked number - and they do leave a voicemail if you miss it, phone was just acting up.

Complete 9/29 and status checker change 10/17 and then radio silence. GPA<25 LSAT>75. Time to give up hope?

The admit packet says that we need to fill out an application in addition to FASFA to be considered for any merit scholarship. Is this a requirement for any other T14? Want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

I don't remember if other schools have anything similar, but it's a simple one-page Cornell-specific form.SilverSurfer2020 wrote:The admit packet says that we need to fill out an application in addition to FASFA to be considered for any merit scholarship. Waitlisted (reserve) today and I'm kind of disappointed since I've already gotten into a higher ranked T14
9/14 submitted
11/11 interview
11/23 decision
URM, >25 LSAT, >25 GPA.

I highly recommend sending an email to admissions emphasizing how much you want to attend Cornell over all other schools, but only if that is actually the case. Talk about being part of a small community--they like that here.rizzlebizness wrote:Waitlisted (reserve) today and I'm kind of disappointed since I've already gotten into a higher ranked T14

Starting to think something was screwy in my app, I've been complete since September.

Anyone know if it's better to get the scholarship thing in quickly? I started doing it but if you want to request need based aid (does that mean a loan?) then you have to fill out fafsa and I need to sit down with my parents and do it
And I want to finish my last two apps before focusing on it

I turned mine in late last year (I was accepted after the "deadline") and it was fine.Keilz wrote:Anyone know if it's better to get the scholarship thing in quickly? Did anyone's status go to "Your application is ready for review" about 1-2 weeks after their interview? Just noticed this happened right before Thanksgiving for me.

Just checked - last year the first acceptance was 12/10 and the year before that it was 12/9. So seems doubtful that anything will happen this week...Why??? wrote:+1taxman14 wrote:Did anyone's status go to "Your application is ready for review" about 1-2 weeks after their interview?
