I'm assuming that late of a change is UR2, but I'm not sure. Might have missed a UR1. Not checking my status checker enough.

Is a UR2 considered a good sign?

Well to help with some comparative context, I went complete 9/18, went UR2 11/30....but I'm below both medians, so I don't necessarily think it correlates with good news unless I'm the luckiest person.jfernandes16 wrote:Duggiiee wrote:RD applicant here... I'm right there with you BillClinton as a re-applicant and with the Penn Hype! Best of luck to youBillClinton Jr wrote:I really thought about it but didn't because I have a stronger application this year and may have some options, Plus I need scholly money/room to ask for more. Thanks! Sending good vibes to everyone. This process was painful last year, hadn't planned on doing it again this year but I'm a lot less status checker obsessed this go round; it's helped a lot.admitmenowplzkthxbai wrote:Did you apply ED this year? Had a date change on November 30 to "under committee review". Good luck everyone.

Just wondering what kind of questions they will ask...cantorb wrote:They do sometimes, but I believe that's only if they have to clarify some things before accepting.phoenix2015 wrote:To reiterate what some have already said, Penn doesn't do interviews. I attended one of their information sessions in October and they made this pretty clear to everyone.sxyrylqq wrote:Has anyone ED Penn got the interview invitation?

What do you mean by interviewed? Did they actually receive invitations and set up times to be interviewed by an alum or an admissions officer?cantorb wrote:They do sometimes, but I believe that's only if they have to clarify some things before accepting.phoenix2015 wrote:To reiterate what some have already said, Penn doesn't do interviews. Last admissions cycle, some people on the waitlist received calls to gauge their interest and these people were admitted, but I've never heard of Penn officially interviewing applicants like other schools do. They explicitly say on their website they don't do this.
ThenShe wrote:Did anyone who applied in September or October not go under review on 11/30? It just seems like a ton of people did, and I don't want to get my hopes up for a decision soon if everyone in that timeframe was automatically moved to UR.
