quick question. what counts as $$ and what as $$$?
from what i've read it seams to be 50% for $$ and 75% for $$$

however schools vary in their tuition fees so is it possible a $$$ at one school is only a $$ at another?

People thinking about negotiating-- when are you going to send in your pleas? If you already have another offer in hand from a competitor are you going to send it ASAP?

i've heard people mention its possibly better or at least easier to negotiate when you have all scholarships on hand and ready to bring to the table.

still i can't see how negotiating early can hurt. you can treat it like a "rolling" negotiations as offers come in lol.

another fun part about going to law school is getting to pretend youre a broker of sorts. fun

You can get lower in less desirable areas, but expect at least $1500 everywhere.

Just from giving the LSN data a cursory glance, I think GW has more respect (and thus offers more scholarship dollars) for good GPAs than good LSATs. That might clear up some of the confusion.

interesting. acceptancewise it seems theyre definitely more splitter friendly than reversesplitter friendly. maybe the other way around like you said for scholarships?

E-mail. I got 75k, also expected more.

Same. Hard to get excited when your scholarship doesn't even cover one full year COA! Got much more substantial offers from higher ranked schools so I'm a lil sad. Really like GWU but hard to swing that number.

Long timer lurker here. Was just accepted this past Friday (1/30)! For anyone who has been accepted and received scholarship info via email, what was the email's subject header? I received an email today titled "Financial Aid Info and GWID for Admitted Students" but it did not include any info about merit money. Thanks!
