Officially submitted today & Checking In. Lets hope the decrease of applicants will make them more willing to let in a lower LSAT score

Hey any super splitters out there who have heard back?
I just got my Dec. LSAT score which is +4 points above the LSAT 75th, but my gpa is well below 25th (due to family issues that I'm writing an addendum for). Hoping that my LSAT score will be able to save me! BC is my #1 choice.

Right now it is tied for #1 with one other school. Definitely a top choice for me! I love Boston and would love to spend three years of law school there.Bigfish41 wrote:gLuck to you too, RachelMEAhrnsbrak wrote:Right there with you! I'm still UR this cycle, but last year I got in with a pretty large split (and no gpa addendum).RachelZane13 wrote:Hey any super splitters out there who have heard back?

Declined via email this afternoon. Can't say I'm too surprised by it. I was pretty far out of their range. Hopefully I'll hear back from Northeastern and Suffolk soon!

Meaning outside of BC I'm assuming?RaiderRed wrote:Anyone from Boston have suggestions on places to visit on a visit there?
- Either the Skywalk Observatory (Museam) or the Top of the Hub (bar/cocktail area/restaurant). Each offers 360 views from one of the highest points in Boston on the 51st or 52nd floor. Skywalk is 16 dollars and has a lot of history on the area, and the Top of the Hub is free but the best deal for your money is to do the "lounge area" (everyone has a 26 dollar or so minimum tab but you can get apps and desserts and really good drinks there)
- It's really cold right now but walk down Bolyston Street, lots of good places to eat and shop there. Newbury Street runs parallel to there, recommend you check out both of those.
- Walk along Boston Common and heads towards the waterfront (at the other end of Faneuil hall)
- Walk around the North End, which is both the Italian District and one of the oldest areas of the city. Cobblestone streets, ridiculously good pastries (Mike's Pastrys - Cash only), great food with in house chefs (Restaurante Fiore)
- Visit Fenway, even if it's just to peak inside.
- Walk along the Esplanade, which is a biking/running/park area that runs most of the length of the Charles on the Boston side (the other side is the Cambridge/MIT side). Check out the Hatch Shell too, it's near the red line stop there, they do a lot of cool stuff there (Dispatch had their original last concert there, Boston Pops outdoor performances). My girlfriend and I used to go there on Friday night during the evening if we didn't feel like going out, they show lots of movies and you get a whole field of people sitting on blankets watching it life a Drive-In.
I have a million more if you want them, feel free to PM me. I love Boston if you couldn't tell haha.

Also, super late to this game but I have applied as well. Deciding between BU and BC is going to be based on where the money goes so we'll see how things go.

Checking in. I submitted my application a few months back but were having them hold for my second LSAT. I'm a splitter so I'm crossing my fingers.

I'm a splitter.. above 75th percentile for GPA and below 25th for LSAT. Went complete of 12/15 and haven't heard anything since. I hate this waiting game!

Re: Boston College C/O 2018 Applicants
I'm applying with a 158/165 and 3.2... so this is nerve racking as well. I'm trying to stay optimistic.
Does it say "application complete" anywhere on the application status page? Mine simply says at the top that "I have received this email to show my application is complete" but it doesn't say it in any of the boxes.
Mike

Hey guys,
How long after your application status became "Your application is being reviewed" did you hear back? Status changed on the 7th.
Thanks!
