Re: University of Illinois c/o 2018 Applicants
Any negotiation luck this cycle? Trying to negotiate as close to full ride as I can, I'm about 90% of the way there and I have some better offers from peer schools that give me a lower CoA currently. Just trying to have realistic expectations before I send this email

Same here. I'd pretty much decided that they had forgotten my app.LadyProspero wrote:In review as of 3/23, hoping to get an acceptance and some $$$ quickly!

I only applied about a month ago (2/27 I think?) so I can't complain too much.RancidSumo wrote:Same here. I'd pretty much decided that they had forgotten my app.LadyProspero wrote:In review as of 3/23, hoping to get an acceptance and some $$$ quickly!
Has anyone ITT had success asking for an extension to the deposit deadline? I think the first deadline is 4/10, but that's early for me considering other schools/scholly negotiations/the fact that I applied here late.

That is when I applied too but they are still one of the last schools to get after it.LadyProspero wrote:I only applied about a month ago (2/27 I think?) so I can't complain too much.RancidSumo wrote:Same here. From looking at lawschoolnumbers.com it appears that they have not put out any decisions for apps submitted after January yet.

Just to aid those still waiting, I applied during the first week of January and got my response during the first week of March.

I'm sure this has been addressed somewhere else and is readily available online, but when is the seat deposit due and how much is it? TYIA.

This school is literally the slowest... I've gotten admitted to much higher ranked schools within 10 days of submitting the application. I submitted here 5 weeks ago and nothing... Still under review.
Seriously, I might have to withdraw before I even get a decision if they don't send them out soon... Deposit deadlines are really close, and some were yesterday. I know I applied late but geez.

Full ride as in full tuition or full tuition and fees? I was given a blatant "no" on asking for fees, but I do have full tuition at this point. Didn't hurt for trying!beverley wrote:Any negotiation luck this cycle?
