Are scholarships awarded regardless of whether or not you apply for Rothman?

Called usc after the concern on my app. They told me my file is complete and been in review. However, online it just says complete and no date changes.
Thought id let everyone know, complete doesn't necessarily mean not in review!

Date changed again, still under ur2. Saw that this happened to some others, has anyone gotten in after 2 UR2 dates?

My app is currently in review and but I decided to retake the February exam. My understanding is that they hold your application until your LSAT. Even though my application is complete and under review will they stop evaluating my application? Thanks!

Have you told them you're taking the Feb LSAT? If so, I believe they wait.carbo09 wrote:My app is currently in review and but I decided to retake the February exam. No I haven't told them yet. Wanted to check here before contacting USC. If I am complete they do not see my registration for a new LSAT?imKMart wrote:Have you told them you're taking the Feb LSAT? They have to run a specific report. They can, but only if they run the report. Some schools do it automatically, some schools do not. I'm not sure which pool USC falls into.carbo09 wrote:No I haven't told them yet. Wanted to check here before contacting USC. They do it automatically. I signed up for the June LSAT - mine app status showed Pending LSAT now but they are still reviewing it after I called them.imKMart wrote:They have to run a specific report. Who did you speak with? I was told, as of now, their policy is to hold applications if there is an LSAT pending.kayrih wrote:They do it automatically. I signed up for the June LSAT - mine app status showed Pending LSAT now but they are still reviewing it after I called them.

Maybe they hold it if you register for the Feb LSAT? June is not one they accepted so that's why didn't hold mine. A point to think of?keosu11 wrote:Thanks! USC alums, there is hope! I am a USC alum, and I only just heard back on Friday. I hadn't heard much from them since I submitted 11/26.

I have been complete with no movement since 11/3. Gpa and lsat both at medians. Thinking about writing a "why usc". Does anyone know usc typically feels about "why" essays? Would you recommend against it?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
