Getting in and getting in with enough money are two different games entirely. The amount of money you would most likely get with that LSAT GPA combo probably wouldn't justify attendance. Feuerbach is right, even if you got in, you'd probably be best served elsewhere.riku33090 wrote:Baby_Got_Feuerbach wrote:Don't regret it. WL candidate without much $ if you got in. Can't wait, I'm pretty sure we're going to have enough Spartans to field a softball team

Not a Spartan but would certainly play softball.

Radio silence until a few days ago when I got in with a full tuition scholarship. This feels a bit weird to me--are their numbers exceptionally low this year, or did they receive an unexpected number of applicants?

Sadly, I will be withdrawing tomorrow. I wish you all the best of luck with the rest of the cycle!

UIUC 2L here. It seems like they were spending big money this year to buy a higher median, and the consensus we got in snippets from the administration is they were pretty happy with the results so far. I'd guess you have a GPA/LSAT that will bump their median, so they're willing to pay for it at this point.corifornication wrote:Radio silence until a few days ago when I got in with a full tuition scholarship. I kind of want to email Ms. Ray and ask what the seat deposit numbers are, but I'm not sure if that's an appropriate thing to ask...

lol. You'd think everyone who was serious about coming would be in the FB group by now, but there's just over 100 people in it. We couldn't possibly be that low.D2142 wrote:I kind of want to call Ms. Ray and ask LOLbugsy33 wrote:hukchobo wrote:D2142 wrote:Anyone have any word on how the May 23rd seat deposit turned out?

You'd think that but, as the unfortunate person in charge of the FB group, there was a solid week where Facebook just fucked off and would tell me people asked to join and then when I went to let them in they wouldn't be there to add.bugsy33 wrote:D2142 wrote:lol. I called them. They didnt have a number to give me but they did say they had enough people pay the second deposit to fill their class. The only way they will look at the waitlist is if people drop and that wont happen until the end of June at the earliest.
I graduate in two weeks, looks like its time to start studying for the september LSAT. FML

Absolutely! I rushed applying this cycle, got extremely nervous on the December test and scored lower than any of my 10 practice tests. Hopefully I see you guys in 2015! =)
