In my case, yes. And precisely speaking, your status does not go complete until your interviewer sends out the alumni interview report. My interviewer did that rather quick, though, judging from my status update.BmoreOrLess wrote:So if you requested an (off-campus) interview, your status does not go complete until you've interviewed?

So I just got my interviewer's name, and it appears he's a judge... What route would you guys go for a title/salutation in the email?

Re: Northwestern Law c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
I had my alumni interview on 11/16 and a complete dated 11/18 (which I assume is when my interviewer sent in her report). How long/how many updates are people seeing before a decision is made?
Thanks!
Thanks!

What's the TLS wisdom on the earliest we can expect to hear decisions? Is the graph in the OP all the information we know? And when did people who got December decisions go complete?
I would track down the old thread and figure this out for myself, but I'm guessing that someone more obsessive than me already has.

Here are the decisions for people who submitted in December. these are taken from mylsn.info, under "prelaw" then "timeline."

I have my off-campus interview today. For some reason I don't feel at all nervous like I did interviewing during undergrad for my current career. Maybe my couple years of w/e, working with clients, etc. has helped? I'm not sure, but I'm hoping it goes smoothly!

Re: Northwestern Law c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
Good luck. I was the same and not nervous. However, I probably should have prepared a bit more. Meetings with clients are less intense, because there are things to talk about. Even job interviews (in my experience) are more casual, because they are usually only trying to get a feel for whether you will fit well with the people you will be working with. My law school interview had a lot of general "interview" questions that I was less prepared to answer than I would have liked to have been. As a hypothetical example, a question might be similar to: "What's your greatest weakness?" but instead of that question, it's something you haven't heard a hundred times. Like "Name the historical figure that has most inspired you, and what specifically you have done in your work/education to emulate that person." <-- This is not a real question I was asked, but it could have been.lawschool22 wrote:I have my off-campus interview today. Re: Northwestern Law c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
I prepped pretty extensively for my on-campus interview and I was glad I did. As the poster above has said, aside from the specifics (tell me about yourself/why law school/why NU), there were way more abstract questions than I anticipated (12-15), and I ended up using all of my prepared stories. Many of them were taken directly from the compiled list at the beginning of this thread, but there were also some I had not heard before.

I'm not applying to Northwestern, but WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE ITT? 50% of you are only checking your statuses once a day?

I haven't checked my status in a couple weeks. I have my interview next week, so until my app becomes "complete" I really have no reason to. However, once it's complete, you can bet I'll be checking it 2 or 3 times a day

I don't really see the point of doing so when we know they won't release decisions before December.neprep wrote:I'm not applying to Northwestern, but WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE ITT? 50% of you are only checking your statuses once a day?
ETA: Plus I know you 5+ a day guys will let me know on TLS if there's any movement with decisions.

It's a symptom of the disease that causes you to check your status obsessively in the first place.

tbh most of us are keeping quiet when things happen to us. i would prefer to remain anonymous. schools use people's updates to figure out who we all are.DrStudMuffin wrote:You will.
