I mean, your numbers are perfect, and Yale really cares about strong academic LoRs, which I can only assume you had (based on that GPA). You didn't "slip through"-you totally earned that acceptance! Be proud!taffy877 wrote:thanks!bart001 wrote:wow! congrats. You must have had incredible numbers + softs.taffy877 wrote:JUST GOT IN.![]()

Only 179/4.0? Man, Yale is really suffering from the drop in applicants.

Congrats, dude.

I don't remember Yale calling so often last year. I thought they only called on the 17th and 23rd last year where as, according to Twitter, tonight will be the third round of calls in a week. I don't know what it means if anything.Travis12 wrote:Just saw Yale Law Admissions tweet the following:

It says "weekend," so we may not see any admits next Monday. I hope we do though.

Re: Yale c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
So I now understand what the "POST-college activities" section should look like (short, basic sentences). But now I'm confused about what the "college activities" section should look like. Is it just a bullet for each activity, and a short prose description afterward?
I've searched the forum and didn't find much helpful (I'm probably searching vague criteria). And a search on the 203 blog doesn't bring up anything (again, probably vague criteria "college activities", etc.).

heres the link to asha's blog where she talks about it:

so as she implies, any style is fine.
