So I spoke to admissions and they are targeting a class size of 100 in case that changes the calculus for anyone. I know folks in other threads were wondering if the number would jump to 150/200 this year.

Admitted yesterday. I went complete around mid-March. Hopefully, they're still giving out big schollies. If the incoming class is around only 100, I would seriously consider attending. Anyone traveling out there from the East Coast for ASD?

Got rejection letter in the mail today. Being waitlisted would've been a lesser blow (even though for a class of 100 they probably won't be turning to a wait list). UCI was my first choice. Shot through the heart.. womp. It's either Hastings or Loyola for me, at this point.

Good luck to those who made it. It is a great school I would have loved to have gone.

Nope that's it. Was just trying to zero in on class size! Good luck, hopefully you get in!mathwhiz87 wrote:Any other good tidbits?BentleyLittle wrote:So I spoke to admissions and they are targeting a class size of 100 in case that changes the calculus for anyone. Yes. Successfully did it this cycle. I do have strong ties to UC Irvine, though, which I communicated in the correspondence, so it MAY have been a factor.almostthere1 wrote:kobe1020 wrote:does UCI negotiate?
who knows haven't heard much back from them what were you originally offered?

Withdrew today.
I was "only" offered $20k a year but was offered much more at USC which is where I'd choose to go even if UCI upped their offer to match. Hope that makes some room for you guys, good luck!

Waitlisted via snail mail today. I'm going to write a LOCI this weekend. I was thinking of also getting an additional letter of rec from my work because I was just starting that job when I originally applied. Do I have them submit it to LSAC or to the email address provided in my waitlist letter?

Applied 3/15, in 4/1, and not a red cent of scholarship money. I was really looking forward to ASW but now I'm feeling kind of bitter. Ah well, who'll be there on Saturday?

Anyone know how many people were accepted off the waitlist from last year's cycle? I was skimming through the c/o 2016 thread but there wasn't much discussion on it.

Has anyone who applied by the deadline still not received a snail mail? (I have not, FWIW -- and I live in LA).

For those accepted -- was your snail mail a big packet (that would not fit in a standard, apartment tiny-mailbox) or was it just a regular envelope?
