Fixed for me. I just want to hear. I'm pretty sure I'm not getting anything, so I just want to get it over with.

I'm putting all of my eggs in today's basket in terms of hope and anticipation.

And I'm putting none of mine in today's basket. They've duped me too many times! Fool me once...

Seconded - I finally heard from UChi and CLS today, so here's to the third piece of good news?

So at what point do we officially allow ourselves to feel let down? 5:30 PT?

Seems reasonable to me... I feel like no packages have gone out today, no?? Or even yesterday?

That being said, I'm ok with it if they give me a lot of money!

Wow, a Stanford prof just emailed me a super-specific note (absolutely no way it could be a form letter) and invited me to contact him with questions. I thought I'd seen it all with the recruiting but that's pretty awesome.

Good stuff. Do you know if it's possible to be an RA before your 1L year?

Good question. At HLS ASW they made it clear it's possible (though rare) but I haven't heard anything from SLS.

Not admitted, but my impression of Stanford is decreasing by the day. Their slow mo approach to everything is such a turn off.

Ugh. Aid package received; exactly the same offer as hls. Guess that if I go, I'll be taking on some major loans....

My SLS offer was *significantly* different from H's.

And I just got a note from a professor who is kind of a hero in the field I work in.

Gotta say SLS is really making a good case and I'm now giving it serious thought after having thought I had no interest in moving to the West Coast. Really looking forward to ASW now.

Believe me, you will love CA once you get there.

I called today asking about financial aid. I got the expected response.

Packages will hopefully be out "by the end of the week." My package is ready but "still needs to be approved."

We just have to keep waiting :(

Haha yeah, we'll get it when we get it... I have stopped obsessively checking my email and have resigned to not asking them what's up until right before ASW

yeah guys, if you haven't done it yet, get your SUNET ID's done asap. Also, you already have one, if you were accepted to Stanford undergrad; they just keep that one on file, even if you ultimately declined the offer.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
