I was unable to create a login. I entered my LSAC number on the first page and it recognized my name on Step 2, but when I clicked "Next" it just sent me back to Step 1.

I applied and went complete on 1/31. I haven't received any emails since then. I'm hoping the inability to create a login just means they haven't reviewed the application at all yet.

there must be some meaning....for example, you log in and see information on deposit payment. ok. then, you're paying deposit. and imagine if, actually, you haven't been admitted but you've payed deposit then what? it's nonsense I think...

Wouldn't this make sense:

1. Those who've applied later whose app's have not been reviewed, thus their lsac # is not registered.

2. Earlier applicants who are still under review

3. Accepted

Well, yeah totally. It's kind of like UW's LSAC status checker. When you see the deposit boxes pop up, you know you've been admitted even though they tell you a week later.

I can create an account but not log in. I wasn't complete until... 1/31? So pretty recently. So I'm half option 2 and half option 1 because I applied later, but I can still create an account.

haha ideally you'd want an admitted student who has received their snail mail acceptance to clarify they arrive at the same screen you do upon login. That should near guarantee you're in.

Personally I'm an option 2 who applied late November who is unable to login after the initial registration.

No, I was able to get thought the entire initial registration process and got the confirmation email with my registration. But, I am consistently turned down when I try to log-in to their admitted students site.

Accepted last Friday via phone call, received packet in the mail yesterday. I can get to the pay screen FWIW.

Yeah, I think your theory is sound. Perhaps Helter is an exception.

The ones that can't go further into the system must all just be in the "complete" phase and the decision could still go either way.

Let's just say it means I don't need to get in to pay because I'm getting a full scholarship. Haha!
