Same, UF is currently my number one, however I eagerly await the scholarship offer, W&M gave me in state so I'd need something similar to choose Florida over W&M.chomp wrote:I had "final decision reached" last Monday, but finally got my acceptance letter today

Do you think going to this will be beneficial? Also it says diverse students, and it lists who it is partnered with, I don't want to feel out of place or anything.

I do live in Gainesville. I have of gotten an official tour of the campus or anything related to that. I don't have anything else going on that weekend. I think I might go since it won't hurt my chanceseas09d wrote:Gotallanswers wrote:Has anyone seen this?

Quote from the event description: "This collaborative outreach event is designed to identify resources and help provide students with skills early in their college career that will assist with successfully navigating the law school admissions process."
I feel like this is intended more for younger students. I go to FSU and I personally wouldn't make the trip down for the event. But if you live in Gainsville or are going to be in the area then maybe give it a shot. You can always call admissions and ask if they think it's a good idea for you to attend.
Total crapshoot. Could be as long as it takes for the letter to arrive; could be NDR for a very long time. Enjoy your spring semester.zniha wrote:Did some looking how but couldnt find a consensus on how long until it went to next stage for people. Any idea??

UF also cut down from 310 to 295 1L's last year.slawww wrote:I wonder if the drop in applications will mean that those of us that aren't auto-admits can expect to remain NDR for longer than past cycles. Got pretty bored and did some research:
2011-2012 cycle acceptance info: http://www.lsac.org/officialguide-2013/lsac_5812.asp
2010-2011 cycle acceptance info: http://www.lsac.org/lsacresources/publi ... ac5812.pdf
I noticed that in the 2011-2012 cycle UF received about 350 less applications, but accepted more students than in 2010-2011. Hopefully the trend continues
lets hope they ease up a bit for the 2013-2014 cycle, then become the toughest school to get to for 2014-2015nebula666 wrote:UF also cut down from 310 to 295 1L's last year.slawww wrote:I wonder if the drop in applications will mean that those of us that aren't auto-admits can expect to remain NDR for longer than past cycles. It shouldn't have, but this made a difference during my cycle. They are the absolute best at these little touches.Spikedude wrote:UF takes the cake for the most thoughtful admission gesture. They sent me a fully handwritten letter that spoke of my achievements and background, pretty effin nice.
