Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
No decision yet, which I wasn't expecting because I didn't submit until second week of November.
I do have a question though if anyone can help. I noticed at the top of my status checker page it says,"This email is to confirm that your application for admission to Boston College Law School is complete. The Committee will be reviewing completed files for our admission process and decisions are rendered between 8-12 weeks after your file is complete (current status date)."
I went complete 11/13, but have been under review since 12/6 (my current status date). I can't remember if that message at the top has been there since I went complete. Of course, the app complete email is the only one I have received, so I assume it has been there.
Can anyone confirm whether it is 8-12 weeks from when you went complete or from under review?
(Numbers are 166/3.51, so I don't think they're so low or so high that they would receive a decision especially early)

Mine was UR 11/28 until today's Decision Rendered. Applied and complete mid-Oct. Also was sent an email 11/20 with an update saying I'd hear mid-December.AlanShore wrote:people who have decision rendered-- when was your last UR date?

Could it be that these are the wait lists? It would justify a letter (unlike a rejection) and it would also make sense why you aren't receiving an e-mail.

Interesting. Mine also went UR 11/28, but has not been updated since then. Who knows. We could go crazy looking into these update dates over and over again. Which I'm probably fully prepared to do.kitmitzi wrote:Same, but I applied 3rd week of Oct.ericaec12 wrote:Mine was UR 11/28 until today's Decision Rendered. Applied and complete mid-Oct. I have a decision rendered status, too.
My last and only UR date was 11/02 and my GPA is at median while my LSAT is above 75th.
I'm from New England and showed a lot of interest in BC, so I didn't think I'd be an auto-ding (YP) but now I'm a little nervous since I haven't gotten an email.

Same here. I have a decision rendered but I had to status updates on 12/10 and 12/11 and perhaps even 12/4 if I remember correctly. Really nervous now.MustacheMarshall wrote:I have a decision rendered status, too.

+1
But what does it mean??? I'm a splitter with crappy GPA so I'm not expecting much Boston love, although I'd like to.

Also a splitter. Maybe they're punishing us for having too much fun in UG.

Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
Last year's thread seems to imply that acceptances got the email the day AFTER the "decision rendered, we'll send you a letter" update.
I don't know, I'm going to crawl under my desk and wait until my letter comes.

We have practically identical numbers so I'm right there with you. Good luck!

Anyone else have a "Decision Letter Mailed" dated today listed under their Mailings in the status check?

Re: BC 2012-2013 Applicants
Still complete at 11/19. This seems normal as many on here with similar complete dates have not gone under review. My guess is people who went complete in October and very early November are getting decisions first.
Good luck to all those who just had decisions rendered.
