First time posting on here! Applied ED/complete on the 12th and still haven't heard back. All I have seen from replies are those who were complete by the 5-8th. I'm guessing our time is early next week.

hahaha yes!!!.. first time!!! and loving it! so many prospective uva students... feels nice to know not the only one who s biting my nails off!.... i hope it comes out in our favor dude!

They send round an e-mail saying "thanks for applying, can't wait to get to know you more, in the meantime check out our once-every-three-weeks newsletter!"
I just signed up to show DAT interest. And I actually did skim them.

Not yet, been

at the phone all day through class. Hopefully a call comes today or tomorrow, otherwise I will start to worry!

UVA doesn't separate "complete" status from "UR" status, right?

So with someone with a 3.39/170, what would be the latest I could apply ED and have a good shot at getting in?
While I would LOVE to attend UVA, it is my second choice. I have a minimal shot at getting into my first choice, depending on how strong the admissions committee finds my softs to be, and I'm trying to decide if I should just bite the bullet and go ED for UVA and call it a day...

Looks like you're in a good spot, though the sample size is small:

I would hold off, but of course it's a gamble.

Waitlisted, wonder how many people are waitlisted who have no chance of getting admitted? How many people REALLY make it off the waitlist?

It varies from year to year. It's useless to speculate at this point as it all depends on their RD pool.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
