Just to add to the crazy speculation. My iPhone made the new message Alert but when I opened the mail app there was no new message. I know my mass mailing system my office uses can attempt to recall unopened messages--wonder if that's what happened? It was probably just a coincidence but the timing was about right so it made me wonder.

Not really...CCN = Peer. Would've been a true humblebrag if you were going to Palo Alto or Cambridge.

Edit- New Haven would be an in principle humblebrag, but then you still have to actually go to New Haven.
