Re: In at Stanford: Class of 2015
I found the best way to arrange a place to stay in Munger was through the individual students that contacted me after I was admitted. So if you have any contacts like that, see if they can ask around for you—it's a lot easier than trying to do things through Admissions.

Would anyone want to share a hotel room for ASW to cut down on costs?
I'll be there Fri, Sat, and Sun night
PM if you're interested!

I am very, very excited and a little incredulous. There's a lot to think about, but I feel like I'll be at Stanford in the fall. Hooray!

Thoughts on the housing lottery? Are most people waiting until after ASW to sign up, or is that too late to (hopefully) get a good pick?

Hey guys! Got the call a couple days ago...so I guess I'm checking in? Weird! But really excited to be here!
As a favor, can you all please post lots and lots of info from ASW?
I unfortunately have to travel for work next weekend. Really sad!

Should be fine! I think getting in off the wait list makes it hard to get housing on campus, but I think the lottery runs in June or something.seattleite23 wrote:Thoughts on the housing lottery? Are most people waiting until after ASW to sign up, or is that too late to (hopefully) get a good pick?

Re: In at Stanford: Class of 2015
I was just wondering the same thing. Still no emails? And there is not a place on the Admitted Students site to confirm that you've registered, right? I signed up in the post-acceptance-call haze and want to make sure I did it correctly!takehold wrote:Registered a bit ago, also no e-mail confirmation here.ohhailawschool wrote:Have people received confirm e-mails about ASW?
I registered a fairly long time ago, but am just realizing that I never received a follow up on that...

Congrats! I wouldn't worry about financial aid if you got Need Access, FAFSA and your taxes in. If you haven't, hurry and do so (still wouldn't worry).wishyfishy wrote:Just got the call today! Totally unexpected. I'll be attending the next ASW.

Everybody seems to get financial aid within a few days except me.

Did we have to submit taxes? For some reason, I thought the admit package we got only mentioned FAFSA and Need Access.Perdevise wrote:Congrats! At the end of the NeedAccess application, if you applied for YSH, all three requested you send in your and your parents completed 2011 tax returns.kindaklueless wrote:Did we have to submit taxes? Thanks. I ended up getting award letter without sending in taxes so I'm guessing they just need them for confirmation.Perdevise wrote:At the end of the NeedAccess application, if you applied for YSH, all three requested you send in your and your parents completed 2011 tax returns.kindaklueless wrote:Did we have to submit taxes? If only I could actually see my award. After logging in to the Axess website, there is most definitely not a finances tab.

wow, just got an award letter from SLS that far surpassed CCN. I think this just decision became a no-brainer. Where's the thread for those who are definitely enrolling?

This may be a dumb question, but does the May 1st deadline mean that the deposit form must arrive by May 1st or just that it must be postmarked May 1st?

Loved admit weekend. Met more than a few people I would genuinely be disappointed to not see at Stanford next fall (since so many people seemed to still be debating between Harvard and, to a lesser extent, Yale).
