Does anyone else's myUM say ""view documents needed" and not let
You see anything else??? All my docs are in. MyUM fail. I currently go to Umiami as an undergrad and am disappointed with this app process for law school.

it will always say that until a decision is made. it is not a traditional status checker. when a decision is made you will get and email saying check your myUM account.

Emailed a dean inquiring about scholly's but haven't heard anything back.. Guys typically how long did you find out about scholarships after your acceptances?

I heard back about three weeks after my acceptance, got a full scholly, but I'll probably be withdrawing soon so it'll go back in the pot - hopefully one of you gets it!

Just got informed yesterday that I received the 25k / year Merit Scholly, definitely makes it attractive, even though they have the dreaded "must be in the top 1/3rd stipulation". Overall, I can say they made the decision and scholarship assignment pretty quickly.

How did you hear back? was it via email or snail mail... 3 weeks after acceptance, ok well that gives me a little while before i should start really worrying about it i suppose

I got an e-mail informing me that I had a scholarship, but that the info was sent through snail mail. But I called and told them I was in my hometown and would not be back to my apartment for a while so they let me know all the info over the phone.

I accepted early in the cycle and heard back this month, but that's really not an indication of how long it will take you because they didn't start releasing scholarship information until recently.

I'm also interested in this as well. And when did you get the acceptance notification?

okay so I got an email on Friday 1/27 that I had received a scholarship and the information would be enclosed in a letter. I received the hardcopy letter on Saturday 1/28. Mind you I live 4 blocks from UM, so the letter transfer time was quick.

In response to questions about acceptances and scholarships, here's my timeline:

Applied: Dec. 2
Accepted via MyUM: Dec. 21 (up until this point it just said something about checking LSAC for additional documents)
Scholarship via email: Jan 12.

I then called to find out my scholarhsip amount. It came in the mail a couple weeks later, if I remember correctly.

Kinda sucks, I would love to attend Miami.. Given their employment statistics, COL, and tuition, there is absolutely no way I will be attending at full price.

recieved my scholly info today via phone call

I got the Soia Mentschikoff which is full tuition + some more perks!! i am very excited right now

I have not made a decision yet as I am still waiting to hear on some more schools. It took 5 days including the weekend to hear. I got in via notice from the website on 1/25
