I got put on the waitlist today! Which I couldn't be happier about, due to my low LSAT and mediocre GPA I thought I was going to be rejected for sure. Does anyone know if they rank their waitlist, or how they choose applicants off it to offer admission for open spaces?

I'm out of state, didn't write any kind of Why University of Washington anything, and I have no ties, so I doubt I'm headed for anything good. However, it's good that we're still in review! At least we're not auto-rejected.

I was WLed today. 3.2/167, OOS. I'm happy to be on the WL because it sounded like I could've either been WLed or rejected after second committee review. I would visit but UW is like...on the other side of the country for me :/

Probably not. When I initially applied I knew nothing about schools/ranking/employment/ties and I thought it might be nice to live in Washington. I'm waiting out the decision though since I didn't have a fee waiver and I figure I at least deserve a decision for my $60 or whatever. Unless I had an amazing scholarship or something I'd probably withdraw pretty soon after. At this point I seem to be headed to WL at best.

What did you say in your personal statement?! I need to know. I'm at the edge of my seat for UW because they'd be my top choice due to location. I currently live in the Seattle area and would love to not move to go to a good school. But, if I do move I want less rain and lots of sunshine. I already was admitted to University of Denver, so they're looking like a good 2nd best with their 300 days of sunshine a year.
