Congrats to those that are getting their acceptance today. I applied on 1/20 not a strong applicant but I think I might have a shot at their PT program, plus I really dont have too many options I am in the Military in stationed in the area for the next year and a half.

Haha, of course! I wouldn't have it any other way. Unless of course one of us got in to one of the many places we are following the same path to and the other one didn't. Then I would want to have it another way.

In today via email. App received 1/9. When I checked the status tracker this weekend it was at complete, so the email came as a surprise. FT program 3.1/165.

I believe so. Mine updated a couple of times before I was accepted, so don't worry. It's better than no movement at all...

hopefully a decision is coming soon. They already updated the facebook page that a round of applicants have been admitted. Does this mean I wont hear back today and I'll *hopefully* be in the next round next week?

Also, if I was denied, do they post that on the status checker page right away too?

I was complete around 12/15 and moved to 1/12...now nothing. I don't know what to make of this at all...it's kind of annoying me, though, especially because I have heard back from higher-ranked schools for which I had less of a shot (a mixture of acceptances and rejections).

Yeah I think the thing that is most frustrating is the way in which they review application and subsequently release decisions seems to be largely arbitrary. Some people with lesser numbers apply and hear back in 2 weeks, while people who have applied months ago with higher numbers are waiting months later. Regardless of PT or FT program too. And again, it's the last school I have to hear back from. I would love to just settle on a place and start negotiating scholarships but American's review process is the sole thing holding it up.

when i visited WCL, a lot of the admitted students said that admissions and staff are poorly organized. it seems like it has been this cluttered in years past, since its a small school with a small admissions office and lots of applications since its DC.

Yea, "in an effort to reduce our environmental impact," haha such an unneeded statment in a rejection. Thanks, though. Good thing I've pretty much made up my mind about going to Boulder because this would have seriously ruined my day. Good luck everyone else!
