Do we need to be doing anything in terms of financial aid? I've already submitted my FAFSA. Anything else scholarship/aid wise that we were supposed to have done?

Is there anyone who's gone UR or 2nd UR around January 21st and not heard anything yet?

I know they haven't started sending out scholarship information, but does anybody know when they might do that? I have read elsewhere that they wait until after the deposit deadline to announce anything. UH would be one of my top choices since i'm planning to study IP law, but without scholarship help it makes more sense to go to a higher ranked school that offered me lower tuition.

Congrats on the new admits!
Sadly, I don't think Houston wants to let me in.

Sadly, I don't think Houston wants to let me in.
I applied to a lot of the lower T14, Fordham, Notre Dame, UC Davis, SMU, Baylor, Colorado, Vandy, UCLA, and Boston.
I got acceptances from Colorado and Davis. I got waitlists at Texas, ND, Cornell and held at SMU. The rest haven't replied or rejected me.
This cycle has been really disappointing and I'm worried about Houston YP'ing me even though I think I'd rather go there than Davis despite the 35 or so difference in rankings.

Thanks for the quick response. I had also e-mailed admissions earlier today so I wanted to share with everyone what I heard straight from UH:mtyler19 wrote:We've all heard March, and it's definitely before the deposit deadlinemxmatt137 wrote:I know they haven't started sending out scholarship information, but does anybody know when they might do that? "Good afternoon! Thank you for contacting the University of Houston Law Center Admissions Office; scholarship decisions will be made later this month through the month of April."
This looks like good news for those of us that will be making a decision between multiple schools by the April deposit dates.

Friday, March 30. They will likely have an info session, campus tour, and the option to attend a class.UNTravis wrote:When is ASD and what happens at it?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
