Getting slightly paranoid because I checked the "this section does not apply to me" box on the "Why WUSTL" section of the app.

Yea, I had about a paragraph in my PS for WUSTL... I just took it out and put it in there, so hope that wasn't supposed to be a huge Why X essay lol

Yeah, I took the instructions too narrowly and thought "well, there's not a special reason I like WUSTL - I'm not from St. Louis, it's just a good school. Seems dumb to write "because WUSTL provides a quality education.""

Realized after I submitted that it could be interpreted as:

"lol, don't care enough to write anything here".

Really? I hadn't heard that before. I would think the school would sooner let someone admitted by mistake stay admitted than deal with the fallout.

Maybe UMiami just pulled off one of the better timed trolls I've seen. (jk)

I'm not too worried. According to LSN, I should be in anyway. I'm just surprised that I am the only one to get an email after the completion date change.

I knew that would be brought up! You can see how excited I am by looking at my profile and LSN- I ran and changed both to accepted right away!

Submitted mid-september. Complete 10/04. And I got the status change on 12/2.

I'm one point below the LSAT median. With the decrease in LSATs administered and, assumedly, in applications, is it realistic for them to hold their median at 168?

I don't know about realistic, but it's certainly possible. One of the easiest ways for it to happen would be if all of the marginal GPA 168s that were splitting between WUSTL and UIUC choose WUSTL after the UIUC scandal.
