Haha, thanks, Why Law can be intimidating if you're only doing it to hide in school and live off loans for 3 years while wondering what to do with life.

Updated twice to October 26th...and radio silence. No interview request, group or private, no acceptance letter...weird.

Maybe it's taking a while for them to count up the dollar dollar bills they'll be shipping us?

I'm an optimist.

Submitted a week ago and haven't heard anything back yet. Not even if they have received it. Too early to be paranoid and email the admissions office?

many people who got accepted last week never had even an email come from the office saying they had received the application. don't think you should get worried too much yet.

Me too. I got really excited today because I got home and found a fat envelope in my mailbox, but it was a Brooklyn Law viewbook.

Ugh I know that feeling. Saw a fat envelope in the mail and my heart started beating super fast. Then I saw it wasn't even addressed to me. I felt so teased.

Just so no one gets too excited; Georgetown acceptance came in a small envelope, looked much like a wedding invitation.

For GULC and other schools, each time the status checker is updated, does the school also send an e-mail to the applicant?

GULC doesn't. Other schools may, it varies. Usually in the email they send with the link to the status checker it will state the policy

I'll be submitting my application soon but this is a big reach for me. Trying to think of what to do for my 250 word optional essay :?

Got to be a good thing this early. Mine only updated once at 10/11, so needless to say I don't think my application made it very far.

Submitted: 10/29; Received: 10/31; Complete: 11/1.

Would be nice to have an early acceptance, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm just hoping I don't end up getting YP'd.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
