Calgirl, when did you apply/hear? Stats?

Yeah, I hope more ppl start hearing soon. SW is my first choice, I actually applied last year, but was fianlly able to bring up my lsat (still not good, but hoping for the best) I just really wish I could find out from them before my bday which is in 3 weeks.

The info about the admitted students day/luncheon was included in the acceptance
Package they mailed out...someone who was accepted posted info about it earlier... But i don't think they advertised it on the webpage...if they do it'll probably be called the ten men luncheon cause that's about it that will come! Lol

No I didn't get that e-mail, Phatslice. Did it say anything else?

Also, does it appear on their website that there is an "Admitted Students Day" this Saturday or were only the admitted students notified?

I just feel completely shut out with this school and it's one of my top choices.

Most of the acceptances so far look way over their average. I wonder when they are gonna get to students who are more likely to come.

This is from the "Admitted Student Events" section of the little card thing that was inserted in the admissions packet:

Satruday, February 19th - Admitted Student Brunch
Saturday, March 12th - Admitted Student Event including a SCALE Dessert Reception
Wednesday, April 6th - Scholarship Event
Tuesday, April 12th - Admitted SCALE Reception
Saturday, April 23rd - Achieving Academic Success
Mid-May - Mid-June (exact date TBA) - "The Southwestern Connection" Admitted Student Event
Early-Mid July (exact date TBA) - Admitted Student Reception

I called in and didn't get anywhere. They said decisions will be rolling out soon and to call back on Friday if I don't hear anything by then.

Its funny what an impact the person who answers the phone at admissions can have on your perspective. I've called Brooklyn 3 times, once I got this guy who was really really snotty. I thought - well I'm not getting in here. The other two times this woman who reminded me of my grandmother answered the phone, and I thought - this place isn't so tough!

The funniest was when they couldn't find my Dean's cert. I asked her, "Maybe it came in before my application and its in some sort of mystery pile?" She answered, "I'm looking in the mystery pile now!" It was adorable.

I got into two other SoCal schools and I applied to those after SW.

Yeah he usually answers when I call too, RAB. He sounds somewhat helpful, but I almost feel bad for waking him up every time.

not to be a creeper but it looks like fragged submitted his app almost 5 months ago, i'd say it's about time he heard back

Congrats! Are u guys 160+ lsats? Those seem to be the only acceptances lately

All these acceptances make me want to cancel my SCALE interview appointment and just be reviewed for full time

So I stalked lsn today, I mean only 2-4 ppl were showing up being accepted today and they all had 160+. One of the ppl was not showing up on the sw list though bc apparently their acct is not verified.

It also seems that a lot of the 160+'s from last year withdrew. But maybe that will be different this year. Also, last year there were 125 ppl listed under sw on lsn this year there are 67 (yes, I counted, but at least I'm at work getting paid). Also, someone else who is not showing up on the list got admitted today it says they applied 1/5 with a 154/3.54
