I went from 12/6 to 12/10. I didn't check before that, though, so I'm not sure if I first went UCR in late November.

I think last year's thread said they reject via status checker. It's a little heartless, so I think we'd all prefer to get a phone call!

If I were you, I would obsessively watch my phone, then run out of the classroom, knocking over desk and chairs on the way out, only to breathlessly answer with a awkwardly loud "Are you serious?!" Smooth.

I'm kinda wondering how the phone call thing works for those of us living internationally at the moment... Kinda hard for them to coordinate their office times with the other side of the globe lol.

Other schools email instead of call when you are overseas. They will probably do the same.

Hopefully in about 24 hours we'll hear some news...

Ha. My exams start Monday. I just realized that a if I got the call right before walking in, I would probably immediately lose all interest in performing well. Penn is definitely in my top 3/4 choices, so this is an especially anxious week relative to waiting for NYU.

I'm ED and got my call last Friday. All my exams are this coming week and I now have no intention whatsoever to study for them.

Was that your first UCR date? A lot of us have the 8th or 9th as an updated UCR date after being UCR earlier.

Thanks for the link! It seems that if I don't hear within the first week or two, I will be WL'd on 1/12. This shouldn't be stressful at all.....
