Am I reading correctly that tuition is only 22k/ year? It says it's 541 per semester hour and 30 hours = 18000 plus 2k per semester in fees, which would be around 22k?

I think I read that they "upped" the price or are planning to in an effort to improve facilities, but I don't remember where I read this. So, I might be making it up.

Tuition and fees is much more likely to be closer to 30,000 than the 22,000 that you suggested for texas residents. Tuition and fees for incoming 2010-11 students was 26,741. I can see them jumping it up another couple of thousand. I think at least 28,000 would be a safe assumption.

We have basically the same numbers if you + and - , when did you apply? Why am I still under review ? Why did UH waitlist you ?FeelTheHeat wrote:Yesterday, sir.Sandro777 wrote:today?FeelTheHeat wrote:Waitlisted with 3.0/166. Probably wasn't going to attend anyways, but a bit surprising. Applied at the end of November. Can't be sure why you are still under review lol. Probably WL me for being out of state. Its down to FSU or UF (pending acceptance, which I must disclose is likely due to certain recent circumstances), UM is too much money and I don't want to be too far from my lady friend.Sandro777 wrote:We have basically the same numbers if you + and - , when did you apply? Tuition is definitely going to increase next year. This is what the brochure says in fine print, "Tuition is expected to increase for 2011-2012 though UHLC is committed to keeping tuition competitive with other urban public schools."
Has anyone found a COA number for last year? I can only find tuition, but I'm curious what they estimate to be total COA.

I'm beginning to think something is wrong with my application. My numbers twin at Wake was admitted Wednesday and I'm still UR, Houston had some movement yesterday and I'm still UR....

Well I know this is depressing but there is the possibility that there was something in your application, other than your numbers, that is holding you back.Sandro777 wrote:I'm beginning to think something is wrong with my application. So, it's kind of unclear to me: does depositing prior to 4/15 mean we must attend, or does it just secure our place for the time being and then we later have to sign something else saying we're attending or not?

My status says that I have been waitlisted as well. I applied mid November. Have others waitlisted received a letter in the mail or email? I have not received anything yet.

I just received my admitted student packet. Did anyone else look at the front cover and ask, "WTF is this supposed to be?" It's an off-balance photo of six people of different races and genders standing around, awkwardly petting some dog. Weird.

Did you guys not hear? After they heard how some other law schools were giving incoming students a new laptop they figured they'd do the same. But due to state budget cuts they had to cut back on spending so now each 1L gets a puppy instead.TJISMYHERO wrote:+1 HillariousfrancisConn wrote:AP-375 wrote:I just received my admitted student packet. Haha. The picture is also kind of strange in that it's older white guys with attractive younger, racially diverse ladies. I went to look at it again to make sure I was right about that and just looking at it briefly made me lol.Longhorn88 wrote:Did you guys not hear? Why didn't they just use the nice looking graphic/seal that's on the UHLC admissions status site?
