Hey APNS - Whatever happened with the CLS withdrawal?

i took the subway to morningside heights and told them in person. afterward i broke into interpretive dance right in the middle of the admissions office illustrating just how little i think of their policies.

on balance, it went pretty well.

On second thought, I might have faxed them my Harvard enrollment form and then sent a follow up email apologizing for the mistake.

i am really not in a position to consider myself entitled to any t14, let alone freaking columbia.

i lucked out, things went well, and i probably will just leave it at that.

Quoted because this makes me respect APNS a lot more than I previously did. It generally fluctuates between a 1 and a 9 on the 10 scale, so consider yourself in the upper sections of that.

While I hope to post in this thread as a "reacher", I am on the waitlist at American...2.71/159. I felt that my PS was strong, and I have incredible LORs. Still waiting on other schools as well.

This all just goes to show that sometimes the admissions officers do think about more than numbers and it is refreshing.

I had been so disappointed with my LSAT performance (as the tale seems to go, I was getting into the 170s on my PTs and just didn't cut it on game day) that I didn't think I could get in. In fact, I was happy to be WL.

I've work in the US Senate 3 years and really played up my work experience and academic successes. In the end, I think it helped that I talked about my unique experience growing up on a farm in NE with 10 siblings and (of course) expressed my undying love for UVa.

Well, I hope some others have the same luck that I did!

A 167/3.99 got in ED this year. A 168/4.1 got in without ED. You should be golden if you ED in September.
