Last night I inexplicably received another "Notice of Completion of NYU J.D. Application". I got my first one two weeks ago.

Did anyone else get a second completion notification? Does it mean they've made their decision? Do you need slashies in your birthday for the Admitted Students Login?

I've lost it.

I applied in very early December and went complete Dec 22. I have not heard a single word since. :(

What are you doing with my application, NYU?!

The very least we could do is overload their servers.

:-) Either way, the end of April is not too far away. It's almost over....

(unless, like me, you're willing to ride the waitlist until the end of August :-))

I'm thinking of putting a deposit down at G-Town, or Fordham/BU/BC, then retaking the LSAT to try and get into the mid-170's. If successful, I would then attempt to ride out Columbia or hopefully NYU waitlist and get in that way. If I didn't get in that way, then I would apply ED to NYU for 2011.

If I didn't get mid-170's on my LSAT, I would go to whichever school I had my deposit down at. I think thats a good plan.

Edited to elaborate on elaborate plan.

You didn't get any other offers or is NYU the only place you would go?

Just got home from work and tried to log in... like everyone else, I got nothing. FWIW nobody on LSN is reporting any acceptance today though. I know its wishful thinking but I'm leaning towards the NYU adcomm "throw off the neurotic website checkers" theory, which requires the website to be updated on Thursday this week, for a change of pace.

i havent heard anything from NYU.

does anyone have advice on whether or not its worthwhile to send them a short e-mail simply stating that I am inquring about the status of my application. That i have gotten into Fordham and that I would withdraw all other applications if accepted, as NYU is my top choice ?

This is exactly what I'm planning on doing. I like what I have so far ($ at Dook) and I think I'm going to pull the CCN WL trifecta and take the June LSAT. I really want one of CCN to be satisfied.

I applied in late November and went complete 12/15. I haven't heard a peep besides my "complete" email. I just emailed them a LOCI yesterday in the hopes of stirring the pot a bit. I'm encouraged that their graph is so green to the right of 170, but I wish they would send me my purple letter so that I can stop hanging my head in this 0 in cycle.

Might end up having to try again next year.
