anyone know what the reasoning is for the no laptop section, and the section that took property first semester?

I thought I remembered somebody saying there were able to call UF and see if they got any need based aid, but when I scrolled through the thread I couldn't find who said it (I think it was Barbie?). If I call, will they tell me if I get any need based, and also if I do call who do I speak to?

You have to fill out the Need-Based application. I think I got it in the acceptance packet, but I think it might also be online. Also, if you call, you won't get any answers. You just have to fill out the app, and then hope you get something in the mail. Good luck!

They told me over the phone that I had not yet been granted any need based. I have to call back in a week or so to find out the final answer. The only reason I was told is prob because I told them about the Tulane deadline coming up and I need to make a decision by then.

I also called them and they told me that the board had my file and if I got anything, I would be notified. Kind of a "please stop bothering us with these calls" answer.

UF still has not given me any decision! I kept getting those "prospective student updates," but nothing else. Tick-tock UF, Emory's ASW is Friday.

Yeah seriously it's annoying. I'm not worried though....but still! WTFUF?!? And another thing...what's the deal with FSUs after grad employment being higher than UFs? I haven't had time to read this whole thread (it's huge). Has anyone commented on this?

Guys not to seem gunnerish, but I am poor and if I am going to buy supplements I need to start saving pretty soon. Does anyone know how to find out what supplements are best for each class?

The law library has most of the good supplements that you can use. While you can "only" take the new supplements out for two hours at a time, there are little "tricks" that allow you to take them out longer if you want (that are legal, just to be clear!). Always use the supplement the professor recommends, if he/she recommends one at UF--it's one of the best pieces of advice a UF law student can give to a 0L.

I was telling heat and neurotic this! Its so cheap! Like 320 or a bit more per person if you fill the bedrooms-- and ALL the bedrooms are way bigger than any in apartments I've seen. Plus the huge yard/garage/kitchen are a plus.

haha. I'll know in 2 weeks! Its 1.7 miles from the law school and took me about... 4 minutes to drive it. 4 bedrooms.
