Take that with the understanding that all of us have lost our damned minds and in the absence of any actual or useful information we've completely lost our ability to understand the difference between causation and correlation. That said, I've noticed that on the three days my child has napped at 11 a.m., Columbia has sent out acceptances. He went down at 11 today, so...RPlatt85 wrote:

I've seen people on this thread talking about getting placed "on hold" - is that the same thing as WL?

I was placed on hold - it is not the same thing as a waitlist. It means you are re-evaluated after April. PM me for exact language of the letter.lauren22 wrote:I've seen people on this thread talking about getting placed "on hold" - is that the same thing as WL?

If anyone has sent in a LOCI, do you get a confirmation email?

Which is effectively a waitlist - just one they will look at before their official "waitlist"sigree wrote:I was placed on hold - it is not the same thing as a waitlist. It doesn't look good for me and others who went complete by December...they said to expect to hear by March, and the chance that all of us waiting get accepted tomorrow is slim

From their LSN, outright rejections are exceedingly rare. Most people get waitlisted first.blelwoods wrote:Has Columbia actually rejected anyone or is everyone just in limbo/ on hold?

The online status checker reads: "Additionally, admissions decisions will not be available online; rather, all applicants will receive their final decisions by mail."

Overheard an adcomm at the ASD saying that they won't start releasing them until April (which I suppose could be as soon as tomorrow, but that's not the feeling I got from what she said).acz26 wrote:Has anyone gotten financial packages yet/know when they'll be coming out?

Did you send these LOCI directly by email or through the upload page on their website? I ask because I submitted through the website and never received a confirmation.yhchoi1687 wrote:twozeroone wrote:Yes, I got the confirmation email.haley12 wrote:If anyone has sent in a LOCI, do you get a confirmation email?
