I'm gonna guess that the prediction for decisions this Friday was right.

In my bones, I feel like you are correct, but I am hoping that they're going to be releasing so many decisions that they need two days in which to do it and so will start Thursday.TheMostDangerousLG wrote:I'm gonna guess that the prediction for decisions this Friday was right.
P.S. Jessica, if this is the case, I don't mind waiting until Friday as long as you give me that sweet, sweet JS2
edit: I thought today was Wednesday.......

There will have to be some by Friday, just because I can't see them going on break without another set of decisions going out. The real question is will it be two days (i.e. Thurs/Fri or Fri/Mon) or just one.TheMostDangerousLG wrote:I'm gonna guess that the prediction for decisions this Friday was right.

Since I'm feeling particularly on edge and crazy today, I thought I'd share with you all my dream last night. JS called me to accept me and told me that I was one of the last 5 people called in this wave. Pure ecstasy...until I woke up.

Nah, jeans and a button up. It's about situation awareness.CitrusFruit wrote:this guy probably wore a suit to college campus toursTripTrip wrote:On a serious note though, do wear a suit with a tie. . . .
Don't do this to yourself. The admissions process continues through June. (And beyond. I know some people here who were accepted orientation week.)andapieceoftoast wrote:Since I'm feeling particularly on edge and crazy today, I thought I'd share with you all my dream last night. i thought someone said they're off after Friday? Sat is the beginning of winter break for the campus (dunno about admin offices).lawschool22 wrote:There will have to be some by Friday, just because I can't see them going on break without another set of decisions going out. so assuming there'll definitely be at least one wave before christmas, Friday's definitely the day, and the only question is whether it will also be Thurs or another day?

Isn't that just the end of classes and exams? Administrative offices at most schools don't get the full winter break that students do. I guess Harvard might give admissions several weeks off, but I doubt it.staples88 wrote:i thought someone said they're off after Friday? Yeah I would guess they're probably in on Monday. They may have Tuesday-Thursday off. A lot of people probably take Friday off as well, but I have no idea how their time-off policies work there.midwest17 wrote:Isn't that just the end of classes and exams? Hi all - I have a good friend who works at one of the Harvard grad schools, and he said the entire university system (all administrative offices) has paid vacation starting midday on the 24th through New Year's Day. Everything reopens on January 2nd, although a lot of folks are taking the 2nd and 3rd off (because at that point . . . why not).
So, for what that's worth.

That makes sense. So JS2's on Friday/Monday are possible.chicky wrote:Hi all - I have a good friend who works at one of the Harvard grad schools, and he said the entire university system (all administrative offices) has paid vacation starting midday on the 24th through New Year's Day.
