That is so brutal. Sorry, my brother or sister.jingosaur wrote:Didn't get anything today either. The only thing I got from a law school since 12/19 was an interview from Chicago. I need this silence to end.

Nothing so far today, of course I don't even know if my mail is going to come today given the weather.

Interviewed a week ago and still silence. I know the max wait for interviewees is two weeks, so 7 more days to go.

Can I just say that I am totally imagining this statement coming from the peeping birdy in your 'tar; given the watching/waiting and the snowy weather, it is just all too appropriate.Nonconsecutive wrote:Nothing so far today, of course I don't even know if my mail is going to come today given the weather.

I'm in the same boat, though assuming that max wait for SENDING decision is two weeks... dread to think where my anxieties will be if I haven't heard by the end of next week.applelover wrote:Interviewed a week ago and still silence. I finally went complete today after a month. Is the status checker completely useless now? Am I just supposed to be waiting patiently for a letter?

wrtc and ls22, is there really a second major "wave," and if so, when has it come in the past? Graph didn't show a real wave.wtrc wrote:Still nothin. Should stop expecting something, looks like I'm waiting til the second round.

Re: Columbia c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
There isn't a second "wave" according to the graphs and what has been reported in the past. However, TLS and LSN tend to skew towards applicants with higher numbers, so there may well be a second wave that we just don't see in the graphs. This is because that second wave could be made up of a fair amount of applicants who aren't on TLS or LSN.patfeeney wrote:wrtc and ls22, is there really a second major "wave," and if so, when has it come in the past? Checking in after going complete today. What's the turnaround time for a decision after going complete?

The average time from complete to decision seems to be about 4-8 weeks.

Re: Columbia c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
So I got an email today from the dean saying, "Congratulations once more on your admission to Columbia Law School," and then had some information, but that was the first i had heard. How do the initial decisions go out? Did I miss a phone call or is it by mail or something?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
