FWIW I recently spoke with a representative of the school at a forum who admitted they had not read a file in almost two weeks because of traveling schedule. If your application happens to be with someone assigned to travel and visit schools, you are more likely to hear back a bit later.

NYU has not sent its first major wave of dings yet correct? This week and next week of last year NYU sent out two waves of dings. Let's hope we survive.

Haven't heard a word since 11/8 when I went complete.
Here's hoping!

Checking back in for the first time in a while (I am a terrible OP). So, this year NYU is a month late with their first rejections (Sorry, I can't read)? Not that I want to see anyone here get rejected, but I'd like the first wave to go out so some of us can have an idea where we stand with NYU.
