I bet Columbia sends out a bunch of acceptances either late this week or early next week. I think they might be waiting until their application deadline passes (which is on Wednesday, 2/15) before they admit some of you who are waiting. I can't imagine why-- some people who haven't heard have really high numbers and have been admitted to top 3 schools--but I guess they're being strange about it. Maybe for some of you it's a soft YP? Or maybe they're just taking their sweet time while they figure out who they're going to give Butlers and Hamiltons to? IDK, it's weird.

I am SURE that some of you will be hearing positive news soon! Good luck!

How do we know Columbia prefers LOCI by e-mail and not US mail? All schools are different. Penn says e-mail, however, Harvard prefers US mail.

How do we know Columbia prefers LOCI by e-mail and not US mail? All schools are different. Penn says e-mail, however, Harvard prefers US mail.

They were saying that they were reserved via email, not talking about how they were sending stuff.

I would assume they generally go out in the first wave since those are when most of the auto-admits get accepted.

I'd have to imagine that they'd save Hamiltons/Butlers for really strong applicants who applied later in the cycle, so my guess is that there should be some given out in the next wave of admits.
