Hmmmm... makes sense. I assumed I would get denied or held by this point, but I guess this is how they do things - incrementally.
I increased my LSAT by a couple points, it's not astronimical, but I am
hoping I might be reconsidered... we'll see. Fingers crossed

I'm sure that they won't be inimical to your non-"astronomical" increase.

Has anyone who submitted mid-late October gotten held/waitlisted/rejected yet? Seeing the numbers of those who have already received those emails, I feel like mine is coming...

I haven't, but I'll let you know when I get mine because it's surely on the way.

Yes. The day and date correspond to an extremely high likelihood. Good luck everyone!

I know, but, with a new dean, admissions at Harvard appear to be running differently - i.e. the early rejections, larger number of JR1s.

Yes, holds are new this year. Nobody gets an acceptance without a JR1 and JR2.

How do we know that there have been more phone interviews this year?

I think people are judging that anecdotally comparing to last year's Harvard admissions thread. 70% of 1100 JR1s may well be admitted this year, but many have been held instead of outright admitted.

I'm in the "held, but no JR1 group" and can't quite figure out what it means. For the sake of study, I'm sending a LOCI and extra LOR to HLS this week. We'll see what (if anything) happens.

Also, does anyone know if extra LORs require our signature? HLS' emails say that any file updates (including address changes) require the applicants signature, but I'm not sure if this applies to LORs coming from a recommender as well.

Actually, does anyone know
where the signature must be for file updates? I realize that I sent a file update a week ago with a signature on a letter included with the update, assuming that such a signature would suffice. Does it, or should it have been on something formal?

They probably want your signature on the LSAC LOR form

i stupidly sent three LORs when i applied as well as a dean's letter that my undergrad does for all law school applicants....not sure whether that counts as a fourth rec? is there anything else to send besides LORs and LOCIs?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
