Continue to manage expectations, but sometimes it take awhile for the ASW access to work.jdanz wrote:Yeah haven't been able to access the admitted students website. Bracing for a WL

Re: NYU c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Is there a sense of whether the DLS happens to all the people who will have DLS today at one time?
Like for those of us who are still UR, do we need to keep checking today or have we survived to be WL's another day?

Failing someone who reported getting waitlisted this morning saying they were DLS first, I'm calling DLS today is acceptance, WL wave to follow. If they do than this is WL, and there's maybe an Accept wave left?

Do acceptances and WLs go out on the same day?

Also, to be absolutely clear, this is useless conjecture.

Re: NYU c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
after going thru last year's thread, it looks like DLS trickled out for 2 days, all of them being waitlisted. I'm still UR2 with a December date, but if i were to put money on it i'm thinking i'll be DLS by the end of the day with a WL email coming in shortly after.

I'm still UR1 at 12/19. I've gotten used to the unchanging status checker.

Any other DLS people get an error when trying to log into the admitted students portal?

Yes. I was a bit surprised, too, frankly, but NYU's not my top choice so it's not that big of a deal.jdanz wrote:Damn I am surprised with those stats. Did you get waitlisted today?adelllla wrote:Waitlisted. Applied 11/15. 4.0 GPA, 170 LSAT.

EDIT: I got the date change sometime in February (under review but with a different date) and then email WL today.adelllla wrote:Yes. I'm taking this as further evidence that DLS today is admit (or maybe ding, although that would be harsh this late). I did not get DLS.
